I am just doing straight sewing...not embroidery. The problem started with birdnesting. I have checked top thread tension, tried to adjust the bobbin tension, changed threads, needles and fabric types. Now, I don't even get to the birdnesting. The thread bunches up around the bobbin casing and I have to cut it to be able to remove the fabric. It is as if something is catching the thread between the bobbin case and the racing mechanism. When I try to slowly watch what is happening by lowering the needle by hand, and with the face plate off, it looks as if the thread is pulling the bobbin
